About the Owner
Our owner/designer Marina founded her calling of becoming a florist in 1998 after a success career in the corporate world. She has a life long interest in flowers and design and it was only a natural transition for her to turn her hobby into a floral business. In Spring 2003, noted by her accomplishments, Marina was interviewed by the local Chinese radio station for an hour long show of how she manage to turn her spare time hobby into a full-fledged successful business.
Marina has a degree in Retail Floristry from Mission College. She has a well rounded knowledge in flowers design across-the-board but her passion is in the Ikebana style (Japanese style) floral arrangements. Her contemporary high style designs have received several awards.
Marina believes in giving back to the community of what she had learned. In her spare time, she conducts floral arrangement & gift-wrapping classes at Almaden Community Center, Southside Community Center, Self-Help Senior Center and World Journal Cultural in San Jose area.
